Build an advanced website translation and localization pipeline to serve as a personal substitute for Weglot.
Use Next.js 15, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, and integrations with translation APIs (like DeepL or Google Translate).
The core loop is: automatically detect content on a static site, route it through translation APIs, generate localized routes at deploy time, and provide a visual management dashboard.
1. Content Detection: Build a script that scans HTML files and extracts all text nodes, images with alt text, and SEO metadata.
2. Translation Management System (TMS): Create a local dashboard (Next.js) to manage projects, locales, keys, and translations. Include a "Visual Editor" mode that overlays an iframe of the site and allows clicking elements to edit their translations in-context.
3. SEO Localization: Automatically generate 'hreflang' tags and localized URL slugs. Ensure all SEO metadata is translated and injected properly.

Make the first run work locally with one documented command. Store all user data locally by default. Put secrets in .env. Include clear empty, loading, success, and recoverable error states. Add input validation, safe filenames, and graceful handling of unavailable APIs. Write focused tests for the core transformation and one end-to-end happy path.
